We are delighted to let you know that we actioned a research project on January 1st 2021 to research into rare childhood leukaemia’s with a poor prognosis, specifically T Cell Leukaemia. Although this isn’t the exact Leukaemia that Harley had, the proposal from Dr O’Connor at UCL was very strong and we knew this was the one that we wanted to support. We have been working alongside the charity CCLG, based in Leicester, who helped us to set a brief and then regulate the proposals that were submitted back to us. We will receive regular updates during this 2 year research project and we can’t wait to share with you any findings and results that occur.

Harley's House is finally a reality! →
Read this beautiful article our good friend Gemma Peplow wrote for Leicester Mercury and how your support and generosity has finally helped us achieve 'Harley's House'
Thank you all so much, we couldn't have done it without you xxx
Thank You!
We would like to thank every one of you who has raised funds or donated to The Harley Staples Cancer Trust this year. We've had our busiest year ever with regard to the children that we have helped in some way:
20 families took a holiday in Harleys Caravan in Norfolk
41 families received fingerprint jewellery when their child received a terminal diagnosis
It is always staggering the amount of fingerprint jewellery that we provide and always so sad for the circumstances for which we provide it.
We'd especially like to thank 2nd Narborough Brownies, Karen Glazebrook, Pitsford School, Elizabeth Yell, St Mary's C of E School, Elsie Robinson & Saskia Morris, Remploy, Rock Kitchen Harris, Justine Sharp, Rob York, The Armstrongs, Nest, Joe Green, Persimmon Homes, UK Garrison, The Freemasons, Mitchell, Joel & Tom, Lingdale Golf Club, Finley Bird, The Plough Pub, Leysland High School, Karl Guadagnini, Jo Polard, Cummins Ltd and everyone who has donated online.
Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year.
Thank you so very much for all your support.

Night at Leicester Races
We had a great evening on Monday at Leicester Races organised by the High Sheriff of Leicester. The final race was named after Harley and his parents had to judge the best turned out horse and present a momento to the winning trainer.
